Every year, a bunch of grasshoppers come to the anthill and eat what the ants have gathered for them. The "offering", as the ants call the ritual, is a part of their fate. One day in spring, when the offering’s preparation has just been finished, Flik, unliked inventor ant, accidentally drops the whole offered seeds into the river. The grasshoppers come and give the ants a second chance to collect food until fall. Flik sets off to find bugs that are willing to fight the grasshoppers (nobody expects him to succeed anyway) and, due to a double misinterpretation, returns with a circus crew, giving everybody new hope. When the misunderstanding finally gets cleared out, there is only little time left for a new plan, which has to work, or else...

Its the last day of school, and Max wants to catch the eye of Roxanne, one of the more attractive girls in school. But how can you be cool when your dads Goofy? Stage an impromptu concert at the final assembly, thats how! Or at least it sounded good until Principal Mazer found out. Goofy finds out about his sons antics (sort of), and decides a fishing trip, like his dad took him on, is the solution. Of course, he doesnt know that Max finally lands a date with Roxanne for a party thrown by the class valedictorian. Through the movie, Goofy tries to bring Max out of his shell, while Max resents being taken away, and lying to Roxanne about the trip (he tells her he & his dad will be appearing on TV at the PowerLine concert in LA). Will Max sink or swim? Will Goofy goof up his sons first shot at romance? Will Bigfoot step back? And what about those nuns?

 All Dogs Go To Heaven:

All Dogs Go To Heaven is a musical, animated exploration of the fundamental conflict between good and bad and of the notions of caring and friendship. While all dogs may be welcome in heaven, the open admission policy doesnt necessarily ensure that a dog is worthy of, or even ready to accept his heavenly blessing. When criminal dog Charlie Barker (Burt Reynolds) and his sidekick Itchy (Dom DeLuise) escape from the dog pound, it isnt long before they realize that former business partner-in-crime Carface (Vic Taybak) has turned against them. Carface puts a permanent end to the partnership by killing Charlie, but Charlie ascends to heaven only to spurn his promised life devoid of surprises and fight to return to a life of vengeance, danger, and adventure on earth. When Charlie realizes that Carface has been using the animal-talking talents of young orphan girl named Anne-Marie (Judith Barsi) to further the success of his gambling business, Charlie steals her away and starts his own lucrative business venture. Charlie and Anne-Marie begin to become friends, but Anne-Maries strong sense of what is right conflicts with Charlies complete lack of moral standards and puts their friendship at risk. Worse, Charlies quest for revenge threatens his own life as well as the lives of his friends Anne-Marie and Itchy. (Ages 6 and older)

All Dogs Go To Heaven 2:

While it pales in comparison to the outstanding animation of its predecessor, Don Bluths imaginative if somewhat graceless All Dogs Go to Heaven, this 1995 sequel has some nice moments of its own. Charlie Sheen replaces Burt Reynolds as the voice of Charlie Barkin, the afterlife-stranded pooch who sought vengeance against his killer in the previous film but instead discovered the joys of earthly love and community. This time, a bored Charlie, looking for a little adventure, reteams with his old pal Itchy (voiced by Dom DeLuise) to retrieve Gabriels Horn after its stolen. Dropping down from Dog Heaven to take on his old nemesis (and killer), Carface (Ernest Borgnine), Charlie falls for a sexy Irish setter (Sheena Easton) and helps a boy caught in a jam. Featuring grand pop songs by the legendary songwriting team of Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 provides kids with a simpler story than Bluths original film, as well as less unsettling violence. On the downside, director Paul Sabella, a Hanna-Barbera veteran who produced televisions The Smurfs, either cant or wont stretch much as an artist here.

This straight-to-video animated story is set in the Beasts castle which, as viewers know from the original Beauty and the Beast film, is under a spell until the Beast can learn to love. Starting with this familiar premise, Belles Magical World plummets into three disjointed episodes surrounding Belles life as a captive in the castle. In "The Perfect World," a misunderstanding of words erupts between Belle and Beast, made worse by a feigned apology. Fifi and Lumiere take the spotlight in "Fifis Folly," when a romantic evening together becomes a chilling adventure inside a runaway sleigh. In "The Broken Wing," Belle entreats the Beast to act kindly toward a tiny songbird. Each tale offers a diluted moral message, yet the entire effort feels contrived and confusing, a ploy by the folks at Disney to add cash to their coffers by exploiting the popularity of the original motion picture classic. (Ages 5 and older)

In the world behind our closet doors, monsters like Mike and Sulley work hard for their income. To be exact, the monster world depends on our childrens screams: It is their energy that makes lightbulbs glow and cars drive. Big companies like Monsters, Inc. collect the scream energy, and many monsters work there in shifts. In these times, it is getting harder and harder to shock the kids properly, since theyre so spoiled by television, so that theres an energy shortage in the monster world. Sulley, the number one frightener, one day accidentally lets a human child into the monster world. Since kids are supposed to be poisonous and carry loads of diseases, pandemonium ensues. After Mike and Sulley discover that the girl they named Boo actually seems quite harmless, they decide to bring her back through her door into her room. But Boos presence is more than just a mere accident. Now, Mike and Sulley have to face an enemy within their own ranks.

Spring has sprung, and Verne and his woodland friends awaken from their long winter’s nap to discover that a large, green hedge has cropped up right through the middle of their once-natural habitat. Enter RJ, an opportunistic raccoon who explains that the world beyond the hedge is the gateway to the good life? where peculiar creatures called humans live to eat, rather than eat to live. Suspicious and even a little jealous of RJ, the ever-cautious Verne wants to keep his blended family safely on their side of the hedge. But, proving the adage that one man’s garbage is another mans or rather animals treasure, the manipulative RJ has his own reasons for convincing the woodland band that there is little to fear and everything to gain from their over-indulgent new neighbors. Eventually, RJ and Verne form an unlikely friendship as they and their fellow creatures learn to co-exist with and even exploit this strange new world called suburbia.

Toy Story begins in a young boys bedroom, where the toys come to life when people arent around. The boy, whose name is Andy, has a favorite toy, a beat-up old cowboy doll named Woody. Pull Woodys string, and he says things like "somebody poisoned the water hole!" and "Reach for the sky!" Woody maintains law and order in Andys room. He is looked up to and respected by all the other toys, until Andys eighth birthday when a new toy, Buzz Lightyear, turns Woodys world upside-down.
